To keep the focus on the river, we used composite decking and modern cable railings for a clean, low-maintenance finish that wouldn’t compete with the view. Custom stairs connect each level and lead toward the riverbank, while under-deck storage puts otherwise wasted space to work.

The project also included a terraced patio, retaining walls, and landscaping to help manage the hillside and create another usable seating area closer to the house.

What used to be a steep backyard with limited function is now a space with purpose. There’s room to gather, room to relax, and room to enjoy the river instead of just looking at it. That was the goal from the beginning—and now the property finally lives up to the view.
